EPMD 1000 Intro to Media Production

An overview of media production from concept to completion. Students participate in hands-on individual and group projects designed to introduce them to photography, graphic design, motion graphic, web design, advertising, animation, audio, video, and digital film making.

Learning Outcome

By the end of the course, students will be able to accomplish the following learning outcomes:

Apply creative strategy, production skill and project management in each filed of media productions toward all 5 assignments
Aware of the communication process and also the customer insight
Aware of media production in terms of aesthetic value (beautiful visual elements) as well as effective communication (meaningful message)
Accomplish a final individual project, “My Friend” digital photographic artwork, using Adobe Photoshop application.
