Fashion Artworks/ SP 2018
The student will create photographic series of fashion photography with inspiration from the Grand Master by shooting 2 fashion sets; one with film workflow and another with complete digital- process production by the following requirements: Model Release, Conceptual Design, Production Note, and Final Artworks
Objectives:
Know about important movements, historical periods, and trends of fashion and fashion photography.
Able to appreciate, imitate, or adapt the work of a photographic grandmaster to fashion photography.
Able to understand and differentiate the film workflow and the complete digital- process production in fashion photography.
Able to operate film camera by knowing how to control exposure, depth of field, and motion for on-location fashion shots.
Able to operate DSLR or MSLR camera and studio lighting equipment, under the supervision and guidance of the instructor, for producing studio fashion shot.
Learning Outcomes:
Identify important movements, historical periods, and trends of fashion and fashion photography.
Identify current trends in fashion imagery.
Evaluate and emulate the work of a photographic grand master.
Perform basic image manipulation and retouching effects.
Schedule and coordinate for multiple model shoots as well as props on locations using film base workflow.
Create and compose fashion orientated people shots within the studio environment using complete digital- process production.
